Eighth Fire
We are in the times of the Eighth Fire, which launches a Golden Age on our planet. It was rooted in the Anishinaabe Peoples' prophecy of the Seven Fires leading to Peace on Earth.
We live in a time of great change, as can be testified more each day by the global pandemic restrictions & unreasonable mandates, chaos, struggles and unrest… this is the time which appears and reappears in the prophecies of many Indigenous cultures from all over the world.
We are experiencing them now!
The Seven Fires Story
Seven fires prophecy is an Anishinaabe prophecy that has been told over and over for generations delineating phases, or epochs of time, in the life of the people on Turtle Island.

Wikipedia outlines the seven fires prophecy. The seven fires represent key spiritual teachings for North America, and suggest that the different colors and traditions of the human beings can come together on a basis of respect. It contains information for the future lives of the Anishinaabe which are still in the process of being fulfilled.[1]
"In the time of the Seventh Fire New People will emerge. They will retrace their steps to find what was left by the trail. Their steps will take them to the Elders who they will ask to guide them on their journey. But many of the Elders will have fallen asleep. They will awaken to this new time with nothing to offer. Some of the Elders will be silent because no one will ask anything of them. The New People will have to be careful in how they approach the Elders. The task of the New People will not be easy.
If the New People will remain strong in their quest the Water Drum of the Midewiwin Lodge will again sound its voice. There will be a rebirth of the Anishinabe Nation and a rekindling of old flames. The Sacred Fire will again be lit.
It is this time that the light skinned race will be given a choice between two roads. One road will be green and lush, and very inviting. The other road will be black and charred, and walking it will cut their feet. In the prophecy, the people decide to take neither road, but instead to turn back, to remember and reclaim the wisdom of those who came before them.
If they choose the right road, then the Seventh Fire will light the Eighth and final Fire, an eternal fire of peace, love, brotherhood and sisterhood. If the light skinned race makes the wrong choice of the roads, then the destruction which they brought with them in coming to this country will come back at them and cause much suffering and death to all the Earth's people.[2]"
The Eighth Fire launches a Golden Age, that predicted Peace on Earth. According to the prophecy, it is at this time that the New People will emerge and as described above, be given a choice between two roads. One road that faces the Light Skinned race, as described by other Nations, is the road to technology and the other road leads to spiritualism. As the prophecies point out, the road to Spirituality represents the slower path that traditional Native People have travelled for eons and are now seeking this road again. The Earth is not scorched on this trail, and the grass still grows there.
In the prophecy, If they choose the right road, then the Seventh Fire will light the Eighth and final Fire, an eternal fire of peace, love, brotherhood and sisterhood. Their steps will take them to the Elders, the Wise ones, who they will ask to guide them on their journey.
